LADRON DE LUNAS
Ladrón de Lunas – Spanish Wines with Character from the Heart of Utiel-Requena
Ladrón de Lunas is a family-owned Spanish winery located in Requena, Valencia, in one of Spain's emblematic wine regions – D.O. Utiel-Requena. The winery was founded in 2006 in a restored modernist building dating back to 1905, combining historic character, modern technology and long-standing winemaking traditions. 🍇
At the heart of Ladrón de Lunas wines is Bobal – the native grape variety of Requena, which represents a large part of the winery's own vineyards. The vineyards are located at around 800 metres above sea level, while the Mediterranean character of the region, continental influences and the proximity of the Cabriel River create distinctive conditions for growing the grapes. 🌿🍷
The portfolio includes red, white and rosé wines, including Ladrón de Lunas Roble, Crianza and Exclusive, as well as the La oBejita selection – Verde, Tinta and Pink. In addition to Bobal, the winery also works with varieties such as Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Verdejo, Macabeo, Godello and Albariño. 🍷✨
Traditional winemaking is combined with modern technology – careful grape selection, controlled fermentation, cold maceration and barrel ageing for selected wines. The result is a range of wines with a distinctive Mediterranean character, freshness, body and good structure. 🍇
Ladrón de Lunas – Spanish wine that brings the character of Requena to every bottle.
