🏰 Who Is Behind Reyes de Aragón
Bodegas Langa is a family-owned winery with over 150 years of tradition, located in Calatayud, the largest producer of Cava in Aragon. Today, the brand continues to thrive under the leadership of the 5th generation – brothers Juan and César Langa.

Terroir & Microclimate
The winery is located in the Marivella area, Calatayud (Utiel-Requena), at an altitude of over 800–1,000 metres above sea level
Rocky soils with a calcareous profile and a Mediterranean, partly continental climate provide favourable conditions for consistently good harvests of Chardonnay and Macabeo

Cava made from 75% Macabeo and 25% Chardonnay, sourced from vineyards aged between 30 and 40 years, located at an altitude of over 800 metres. With 10 months of ageing en rima and a low sugar content, it develops good aromatic intensity, with fruity notes of citrus and apple. It also reveals hints of bakery and Mediterranean scrubland.
History
For centuries, the Crown of Aragon pursued expansion across the Mediterranean, leading to the conquest of the Balearic Islands, domination over parts of what is now southern France, rule over the warrior peoples of Corsica and Sardinia, the establishment of the Crown of Sicily and Naples, and even control over the cradle of classical culture – Athens.
It was a journey spanning several centuries, during which no ship dared to sail the waters without carrying the flag of the King of Aragon on its stern.
